How to make a kick-butt website for movers!
Moving Company Websites Are Crucial
Why focus about web design?
With the explosion of blogging platforms 2.0 and social media marketing and all the buzz about blogging platforms 2.0, let's get this straight...its individual character to 'double take' a fairly face than a simple Jane or Joe. Therefore is the idea of design. Therefore here's my take on why you should concentrate on web design:
First, the web design is your company's face. Actually. Truth be stated...I'd rather appearance endlessly at the Yahoo site rather than the Google site. Why? Because Yahoo appears so much better! It's a different thing completely that we use Google a lot more and there is this sense of knowledge of it, but that's a different story completely. Actually, if you believe about it, Google is in the real sense Blogging platforms 2.0 compliant from a design stand point; that i will get right into a little later.
Second of all, design builds stickiness. Just how many times have you merely bookmarked a URL, because it looks great? How many times perhaps you have thought, "damn! I want my design group to get this great!"...Yes, it's happened with me and I'll bet it's happened with you. Site stickiness initial starts with, its look and feel and moves into its real usefulness.
Thirdly, design gets you motivated. I'll be honest about it. I love design and everything associated with it. I'd like to believe that, if your site is great...you are cool and it's really a fact. Most people, who I personally will look, know and act like their blog/cultural network profile and their site. If I've a certain 'funk' element to my site and that's just how I'd look at points or a 'slick' experience to it, I'd become that as well. It's like dressing. The better dressed you are, the well informed you work. And I'll bet a great design on your company website, will rub off on your own employees too. Just imagine how much well informed your sales people will be, just knowing, they have a great site which markets on looks, when someone comes there!
Lastly, Good web design generally models a tone - I'd simply no sooner close a website, that's badly designed, than open it and try to strain my peepers at them. A good website, captivates when you come there. Actually if you're content isn't great to start with, getting the right design, means that your users know quality when they see it.
HOWEVER...design will not stop at just the appearance of the site. It's also the FEEL, that's important. Now, 'experience' of the site can mean a lot of things to many people. It's either, how the colours arrive off or it's how the site is structured or it could be the navigation or whatever. Design or the appearance of your site, MUST go together with the experience of the site. Therefore whatever "feel" you do decide to go with, what is important is that together with the design must be continuously evaluated. There are several tools to judge design of your site.
If you want a web design analysis for your site prior to purchasing, please know that many companies offer this. Feel free to ask them!
